...Business development is top of my list at the moment. I recently led a TMP presentation team at a 2-day workshop for Australia’s leading retailers and while some of them have already started using us to help them with their career websites and attraction strategies for everything from salespeople to senior finance staff, there are several more interested potential clients to follow up on.

We were able to get such a high level of interest from conference attendees because of the ground-breaking work we’ve already done for clients in this sector – and the amazing results they’ve achieved. We’re just completing one of the largest projects TMP has ever done for a client where we’ve completely revolutionised not only how the client’s employer brand looks and feels but we’ve also audited and improved every facet of their attraction strategy and the way they manage and convert candidates into staff.

That’s been a great experience and I’ve worked with just about everyone in our specialist teams to get it developed and delivered.

I’m also working with a new client in the finance sector who has invested in an Applicant Tracking System but who now realises they need a comprehensive attraction and recruitment strategy to fit around the ATS and help them make best use of their investment. I’ll be working with Interactive and Candidate Management to put our recommendations together.

My other current projects include helping an oil company recruit from overseas; working with an IT company to conduct employer brand research in India, Korea, Japan and Malaysia and a banking client who needs some assistance in establishing a profile in the sector and attracting the right calibre of senior staff.
